This little teapot has quite a history! Its origins date back to the end of the 17th Century and the birth of the British Ceramic Teapot. Ever since then, English tea drinkers have claimed that a teapot with a "Brown Betty" shape makes the best tea, thanks to the way it lets tea leaves swirl around while steeping. Handmade in Stoke-on-Trent (home of the Brown Betty since the 1600s). 48-oz. pot brews six cups. Hand wash and air dry.
The teapot is not for use in a microwave or on a stovetop.
